A 32-member tour group from Beijing is in Taiwan for health checks, spa treatments and sightseeing, making it the second Chinese group to visit Taiwan for medical tourism since last month.
Hung Tzi-jen, vice general manager of a health management company affiliated with Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital, which launched the special mode of tourism packages, said that in addition to the health checks offered last month, more services are on offer this time around.
The group embarked on a sightseeing tour of the Yangmingshan National Park shortly after it arrived Sunday at the start of a six-day visit.
